IT Specialist

Job Summary

The IT Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, maintaining computer systems and networks, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the efficient operation of the organization’s information technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems in a timely manner.

Monitor and maintain network connectivity, internet access, and security systems.

Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.

Perform regular system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance.

Assist in the implementation of new software, systems, and IT projects.

Document technical issues, solutions, and IT procedures.

Ensure compliance with company policies and data security standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least 1–3 years of experience in IT support or system administration.

Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with antivirus, backup, and security tools.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
