Recovery Lead

As a Recovery Lead in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of denials analysis, resolution, and prevention, ensuring our clients experience improved revenue capture. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Service Delivery 
  • Supervise a team of denials management specialists, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to best practices. 
  • Analyze denied claims to accurately identify root causes (coding errors, missing authorizations, etc.) and develop corrective action plans. 
  • Work collaboratively with clients’ internal teams to address and resolve systematic issues contributing to denials. 
  • Monitor and analyze denials trends, using data to develop strategies to improve clean claim rates. 
  • Establish and maintain clear denial management processes and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant claim resolution. 

Leadership 

  • Provide training, coaching, and feedback to team members to enhance their performance and development. 
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address process improvement opportunities within the denials management function. 
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry best practices in denials management and share knowledge with the team. 
  • Create and maintain detailed reports on denials management activities for clients and internal review.

  • Build a professional network, taking opportunities to share marketing content on platforms such as LinkedIn to build positive brand awareness.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a strong focus on denials analysis and resolution. 
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare coding, billing, and reimbursement regulations. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
